When an average person has a gun pulled on them, they're typically paralyzed with fear. The moment you realize the only thing separating you from life and a bullet lodged in your body, a metallic taste pops into your mouth. This dry taste is frightening and after moving your tongue around in your saliva-free mouth, you think that this is probably what an actual bullet tastes like. While it is rare to have an experience such as this, certain music can trigger similar feelings. One such band is the New York-based post-punk outfit Blank Dogs. The group is essentially the musical endeavor of Mike Sniper and because Sniper is free to dictate the pace and tone of the music, its sound is extremely pure and unfettered.
