The Kicks

Following in the footsteps of Nashville rockers King of Leon, The Kicks is a four-piece southern rock outfit that croons sultry ballads and stomps out dirty jams. Formed in the mid 2000s, the band has maintained its DIY aesthetic by self-releasing all its albums and managing its own booking. Though The Kicks grabbed the attention of members of Jars of Clay and The Raconteurs, who helped produce the band's debut full length, the group has stuck to its original philosophy and continues to make its own breed of alt-rock.
