Vonnegutt

Alternative rock/hip-hop four-piece Vonnegutt was formed by emcee Kyle Lucas and guitarist Neil Garrard in Marietta, Georgia in 2007. Both tired of the insipid music produced by most mainstream hip hop artists and rockers, the two ambitious musicians decided to call their band Vonnegutt after the author Kurt Vonnegut, with the hopes of making lyrically smart music. Though it is up for debate whether the band has lived up to its namesake's witticisms, the Vonnegutt has found underground success throughout most of the south and midwest.
