Ponderosa

Athens, Georgia based Southern rockers, Ponderosa, have the aesthetic of delta blues kids, but perform psych-tinged country rock. The four-piece was conceived in 2005 and have since gained a loyal following throughout the South. Known for front man Kalen Nash's honeyed voice, as well as the band's use of a Wurlitzer organ, banjo and lap steel, Ponderosa has received fairly positive acclaim and continues to expand its tour bracket to a larger and larger fan base.
