With the synthpop of Suicide and D.A.F. in mind, Belgian band Absolute Body Control was formed by Dirk Ivens and Eric Van Wonterghem in 1979. Though the band only released cassette tapes and one 7" single, disbanding within a few years to form the industrial electro group The Klinic, Absolute Body Control would release a few greatest hits compilations in the early 90s and eventually reassemble in 2008 to tour and record a new album.
