Even though The Bravery has only been releasing music since 2003, the group sounds like it was one of the cultural anchors of the New Wave scene that emerged in the 80s. The band's danceable drum beats and empowering synth lines are extremely memorable and are responsible for rising this New York-based band to prominence.
