Gothenburg based Billy Jones was raised on the music of Sam Cooke and Roy Orbison. While he played the acoustic guitar most of his life, he only recently considered sharing his music and has since released a debut album in 2007 and secured a residency at The Dubliner in Gothenburg. Creating heartfelt singer/songwriter country-folk and bringing along friends who back him on the banjo, fiddle, lapsteel and mandolin, Billy Jones sounds like an artist straight out of the Mississippi Delta.
