Chapel Club is a New Wave-esque band that's characteristically British, thus making the group's sound difficult for American audiences to properly digest. Sounding, at times, like an artful blend between The Smiths and My Bloody Valentine (I know, they're Irish), Chapel Club creates a unique style of abstractly influenced alternative rock that's well packaged for three minute, radio-friendly singles. The band released its first single in 2009 has received a large amount of laudation from English music connoisseurs who have set the expectation bar for this budding group quite high.
