Vetiver

Even though the folk genre is a classically nostalgic style of music, several artists have taken it upon themselves to progress the genre and inject modern influences into it. One of these bands is the San Francisco based group Vetiver. The band plays a unique form of folk music that's enlivened by newfangled characteristics like electronics and state of the art production techniques. The band is a dedicated touring act and by spending so much time playing shows, the group has turned into a rough n' ready war bird that's able to wow audiences with its attention to detail and impressive instrumental progressions.
