UUVVWWZ

Conceived in 2007 UUVVWWZ, read Double U Double V Double W Z, is a four-piece indie rock outfit from Lincoln, NE. After a year of writing and recording music, the band took its music on a tour of the East Coast before settling back in Nebraska to record its eponymous debut album. Released in 2009, the record offered an experimental blues-rock sound that resonated well with indie music fans across the US. After another two years of writing, UUVVWWZ came out with another record, titled the trusted language. The album was praised for its politically driven lyrics, sinister guitars and overall experimental but cohesive sound.
