One of the forerunners of the now popular indie folk-rock scene, Seattle based David Bazan was a member of Headphones, Pedro the Lion and The Undertow Orchestra before officially branching out solo in 2006. With his quiet, emotive, acoustic folk-rock and with tours where Bazan recruits friends like Ben Gibbard (of Deathcab for Cutie) and Jonathan Rice to play with him, Bazan is a well-respected member of his genre. While Bazan prefers to avoid the limelight and has thus maintained a low profile, unlike former collaborators Gibbard and Nick Peterson (of Fleet Foxes), he is still a legend whose live act is not to be missed.
