When Alain Macklovitch was 13, he took the money he received from his bar mitzvah and bought a set of turntables. Macklovitch practiced about 18 hours a day in his parents basement and after he had worked up enough courage to show his talent to the masses, he competed in the 1997 DMC World DJ Competition - and won. This status brought Macklovitch - now performing under the guise A-Trak - a healthy dose of recognition and ever since, he has been honing his skill on dance floors around the world. His unique form of club music mixed with modern house and trance is undeniably infectious and easy to move to.
