The 90s were a ripe decade for electronic producers. Advances in computerized music equipment and sampling devices made it possible for people to create sounds and songs that were unlike anything that had been made before. One innovative musician who took advantage of these changes is the British producer Rob Haigh (who performs under the Omni Trio guise). His unique approach to composition employs ethereal background noises with manic breakbeat rhythms, leading many to call his style of music ambient drum and bass. Though the 90s are all but a distant memory, Haigh is still performing to enraptured audiences around the world and cranking out LPs that contain tracks of studio mastery.
