Even though the Swiss band The Young Gods has never really broken into the mainstream musical lexicon, the group has managed to continually release impressive recordings and influence well known artists like David Bowie, The Edge of U2 and Mike Patton of Faith No More. The group was formed in 1985 and has changed its sound several times - ranging from post industrial to ambient - but the group has always managed to keep its musical aesthetic respectable and highly admirable.
