Noel Coward's 1924 classic comedy follows a weekend with members of the eccentric Bliss family, who each invite a guest to stay over in their English countryside home. Though the play only takes place over a 24 hour period, the quirks and melodrama of each family member, particularly the retired actress mother, manage to upset and disturb the four guests who eventually sneak out of the house unnoticed. While the play is noted as one without a serious plot, it is an amusing farce nonetheless.
