Eva Simons is a pop vocalist, electronic music composer and songwriter from the Netherlands. With music running through her family, Simons started playing piano as well as composing at an early age, leading her to graduate from Amsterdam's renowned music school, Conservatorium. Part of the four-piece girl group Raffish, she scored a number one hit in her home country and released two other singles. It wasn't until 2009 that she took the internet by storm with a YouTube upload of her very own "Silly Boy," an electro-pop song. Ever since, Simons has built up a dedicated online fan base. Her global breakthrough came in 2010 with the release of "Take Over Control;" a collaboration with Dutch DJ Afrojack, this massively popular dance hit quickly racked up millions of online views and downloads. Simons moved on to release "This Is Love" in 2012 with superstar Will.I.Am before getting to work on her debut album.
