Italian composer Donzinetti's opera Don Pasquale was written for the Paris Opera house in 1843. The domestic comedy's themes still hold true today and continue to amuse audiences worldwide. Directed by Jonathan Miller and following an older bachelor, his young fiance and her secret lover, the Royal Opera House revives the classic opera buffa with a complex set design and an acclaimed cast of soloists.
