Aristotle Onassis was a wildly successful Greek shipping tycoon who was a millionaire by the age of 25 and notorious purveyor of some of the world's most high profile women. After making his fortune, Onassis married his first wife, Athina Livanos - a woman from an extremely well to do Greek family. During his marriage to Livanos, Onassis began his highly reported affair with the opera diva Maria Callas. At the time, the couple were the two most famous Greeks in the world and the relationship nearly eclipsed the notoriety of both individuals. After growing weary of Callas, Onassis moved on and married the former first lady Jackie Kennedy. Onassis' rebel rousing nature is captured in this play about the Greek business mogul and even though there is a high amount of drama in the story, there's also a fair amount of comedic wit too.
