System 7 is an English ambient dance duo comprised of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy that was formed in 1991. Blending tonal experimentations with a four-on-the-floor house thud, the group manages to create some extremely listenable material that pushes the boundaries of what's typically expected from electronic musicians. The duo released its self-titled debut album in 1991 and since then the group has remained active with a consistent LP output in addition to maintaining a busy touring schedule.
