The Depreciation Guild

Even though the 80s are all but a distant memory in the minds off all who lived through those tumultuous years, there are a few bands keeping the spirit of the 80s alive with nostalgic sounds that nod in reverence to the Decade of Excess. One of these groups is the Brooklyn based pop-rock outfit The Depreciation Guild. The band makes easy to like indie rock songs with an electro backbone and even though the group's sound is clearly a ode to erstwhile bands of the 80s, the group's evocative sound fits well within the multifaceted modern music scene.
