Founded by front man Jonas Richard Tomalty in 2009, Jonas & the Massive Attraction is a rock band from Montreal and the first band on Tomalty's record label Big Slice. Although the band isn't considered a solo project, Tomalty serves as the creative leader of the band but attributes its success to the collective whole, as referenced by the title of Jonas & the Massive Attraction's debut album, Big Slice. Released in 2010, the record offers elements of both hard rock and alternative rock.
