Soulwax

The Belgian band Soulwax are a difficult band to pigeonhole. The shape shifting nature of the band has various forms and from year to year the band manages to change its musical direction. At times, the band is a pretty straightforward alternative rock group, complete with distorted guitars, low end bass and walloping drums. While at other career points, the troupe is a clearly defined electronic outfit. The band - founded in the early 90s - also morphs into a pop group that 's known for its mashup capabilities. Though there are different faces of the band, Soulwax is comprised of such talented musicians that whatever sonic waves created by the band will undoubtedly be original and extremely listenable.
