Some musicians experience a rise and eventual fall from fame during their formative years and the rest of their lives are spent trying to reclaim part of the celebrity that they were engulfed by at an early age. One of these disheartened individuals is the American rock singer/songwriter Alex Max. He signed a prestigious recording contract with his band The Calling at the ripe old age of 15 and experienced something that very few musicians do: cultural popularity. Max's fame was short lived though, due to The Calling calling it quits in 2005. Max was out of a band but this didn't damper his ability to churn out slightly predictable rock music in a similar fashion to his work with The Calling.
