This Australian band has been giving electrifying performances on every stage it stepped on. The band was formed in 1981, in Sydney. Most of the band members were originally part of other bands, so each of them brought something different to the table, which further influenced its music. It debuted the next year with the single "Leilani." The song was about a tragic fantasy, which was laid out in the band's very own blend of rock, punk and little bit of psychedelia. This marked the beginning of an illustrious career of Hoodoo Gurus, which went on to make chart-topping songs like "Tojo" and "I Want You Back." The band is also a recipient of many multiple ARIA music awards and has also won a place for itself in the ARIA Hall of Fame.
