Since having emerged as a young rapper from Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg has managed to establish himself as one of the more recognizable figures on the modern hip-hop scene. Risen to prominence after collaborating with Dr. Dre on a number of songs in the early-1990s, Snoop Dogg would go on to release his debut album, Doggystyle, in 1993.
