Nantes-based screamo musician Simplyd4rk focuses just an much on scaring fans with gory makeup and slasher film style videos, as he does on mastering the industrial-goth qualities of his music. While there may not be as many emo bands vying for the attention of angsty, Hot Topic frequenting teenagers as there used to be, Simplyd4rk is one of the few artists still passionately making music for this specific audience.
