Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin are two British musicians who use a variety of unique instruments including the dobro, banjo and fiddle to create folksy music with a characteristically traditional sound. The duo released its debut album, Singing the Bones, in 2011 and the LP helped introduce audiences to Henry and Martin's emotive voices and knack for well-honed instrumental arrangement. Having since gone on to make a name for itself on both sides of the Atlantic, the group has been praised for its originality and also for its unabashed tendencies to look to the past for musical inspiration.
