Fenix TX

A perfect representative of '90s pop punk, Houston-based foursome Fenix TX was forced to struggle with the reputation as a Blink 182 knockoff throughout its entire career, not eased by Blink 182 frontman Mark Hoppus' patron-ship that got the band a record deal with MCA. While the band does bear similarities to the its patron's band, it was a band in its own right that frequented the Warped Tour and performed nationally with label mates New Found Glory. The group reformed for a reunion tour in 2005.
