The Algerian-born French pop singer/songwriter Phil Barney first rose to success in the 80s with a number of popular singles that lifted the musician to a fairly respectable position that few arrive at. Though he is considered a pop star, Barney has recorded a wide swath of material that ranges from rap to rock and even though he's a bit older than he was when he first burst onto the scene, Barney has matured like a fine wine and is currently singing like he's in the prime of his life.
