Bis is a Scottish band that blends together elements of electropop, alternative rock and punk to create a distinctive style of music. Formed in 1994, the group played a number of low-profile shows--honing its sound and refining its songwriting approach--before releasing its 1997 debut album, The New Transistor Heroes. Though the group broke up in 2003 in 2009 it reformed and has since maintained an active touring schedule.
