Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and musician Chris Garneau is a true individual. Musically speaking, his compositions recollect carnival music, French pop of the 1960s and baroque music, all with a bit of fairy dust sprinkled on top. Garneau's fantastical, imaginative and inspired pop music is at once evocative and haunting, playful and stark. The native East Coaster spent a young childhood in France, before returning to the tri-state area with his family. His interest in music is long-standing, and with a rich tapestry of influences that include Jeff Buckley and Nina Simone, Garneau's whimsical act is steeled by a firm musical background. Garneau began performing on the downtown scene in New York City, but his music has since taken him across continents, sharing his powerfully visionary pop with the world.
