Hailing from Northern Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club is an indie pop group formed by Alex Trimble, Kev Baird, and Sam Halliday. Inspired by post-punk and dance punk, the band's music is generally quite fast, at times reaching punk's most neck-breaking speeds. The group's pop sensibility is playful and upbeat, but often employs themes of love and loss in its lyrics. The band's debut album Tourist History, was released in 2010 and was followed by 2012's, Beacon.
