DARKSIDE

Darkside crafts hypnotic songs packed with slow burning, oftentimes psychedelic jams. Comprised of noted avant-pop musician Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, Darkside released its debut three track EP in 2011. While its not straight forward rock in any stretch of the imagination, Jaar describes it as "The closest thing to rock and roll I've ever done." Though critically praised for its work, Darkside has remained little more than a hobby or an interesting, a side project for Jaar's--resulting in a fairly stagnant recording and touring schedule for the group.
