Gaz Coombes, born Gareth Michael Coombes, is a singer/songwriter from Oxford who is best known as the lead singer of the alternative rock band Supergrass. He announced his solo endeavor in 2010 and released his debut single "Hot Fruit," in 2012 with an indie Britpop sound. After a second successful single, Coombes finally dropped his first LP Here Come the Bombs, in 2012.
