English mod revival outfit The Lambrettas has two stages of its career: pre-break up and post-break up. When the group first got started in the early '70s it was a champion for the mod revival, but after the "scene" fell out of fashion the group fell into slight disarray and was cast off into the dreary world of direction-less bands. The group kicked around for a while - playing small venues and releasing material that met little or no commercial success - until it decided to call it quits in 1985. The group staged a comeback, though, in 2009 and now that all the members are a little older and a little wiser, the group is is true form and delivers the modish goods during every live performance.
