After introducing itself with a rooftop gig in 2010, New York City-based band Big Ups carved a niche for itself among audiences of post hardcore and noise rock. The four-piece outfit offered up a handful of singles and a split 7" before fully realizing its post punk sound with its 2014 debut LP, Eighteen Hours of Static.
