Daughter to the well known modern blues musician Chris Whitley, Trixie Whitley is a Dutch musician, based in New York who plays an eclectic style of folksy alternative rock. Spending her youth immersed in music as her father recorded and played at some of the most notable studios and music venues in the world, Trixie was ensconced in a sonic world unusual for children of her age. Quitting school at the age of 17 and moving to New York, to pursue music full time, resulted in her 2013 debut album, Fourth Corner, a collection of pensive and mature songs that proven her strength as a musician and recording artist.
