Passenger is the stage name of English musician and singer-songwriter Michael David Rosenberg. A native of Brighton, Rosenberg learned to play classical guitar as a kid. After dropping out of school at 16, he took his skills to the streets of England and Australia as a busker. Following his return to his hometown in 2003, he founded the band Passenger with fellow musician Andrew Phillips. The band's sole album Wicked Man's Rest dropped in 2007, after which the band called it quits. Rosenberg, however, decided to stick with the name. His debut solo album as 'Passenger' hit the shelves in 2009. Titled Wide Eyes Blind Love, the album showcased Passenger's talent for intimate storytelling through stripped-down, acoustic tracks. The prolific artist has since released several other albums and developed his sound with every passing work. His most popular songs include "Let Her Go," "Heart's On Fire," "Anywhere" and "Sword from the Stone."
