The Zoltars

Making a style of music that harks back to 1960s garage rock n' roll, The Zoltars is an Austin, Texas-based quartet that manages to take the majority of its inspiration from rock's forefathers. With a songwriting mentality that focuses strongly on a do-it-yourself aesthetic, The Zoltars does not concern itself with filling its song with stunning instrumental solos or complex lyrical allegory. Instead, the group cranks out simplistic garage rock-inspired songs with endearingly juvenile lyrics. Though the band sounds like it's the byproduct of a culture of yesteryear, the band was formed in 2010 and has since received attention for the sparse, yet memorable, recorded material it has released.
