Die Goldenen Zitronen

Die Goldenen Zitronen (The Golden Lemons) is a punk rock/New Wave/indie band from Hamburg, Germany. In the beginning of their career in the 1980s, the band's style was mainly punk rock. Later in the 1990s, they added more and more different influences, such as New Wave, Jazz and Electro, creating an unique, yet sometimes unsettling sound. The bands lyrics are often anti-fascist and politically radical, contemplating the world and society from a mostly leftist perspective.
