Blitz the Ambassador is the stage name for Samuel Bazawule, a hip-hop and visual artist from Accra, Ghana who earned numerous awards in his home country before relocating to the United States to pursue his artistic career in 2001. Learning to fit in quite well with the burgeoning underground hip-hop scene of the 2000s, Blitz the Ambassador began to produce and release well-received EPs in the United States as soon as 2005. Blitz the Ambassador's debut studio album Stereotype, released in 2009, was considered to be a boon of experimentation and ingenuity that many feel positively push the boundaries of the hip-hop genre.
