Madeon

Madeon is the electronic music moniker of Hugo Leclercq, a native of Nantes, France. Combining bits and pieces of pop, electro and house, he established himself at the age of just 17 by remixing tracks by deadmau5 and Yelle in 2011. His feel good, dance-friendly style quickly made him a club favorite as he began crafting his full-length debut album. To tide his fans over, Leclercq released "Pop Culture" on Youtube. The video showed him mashing up 39 different pop songs live on his colorful MPC, and became a viral sensation that has only increased eagerness for the Madeon LP to drop.
