Gentleman

Gentleman is the stage name of Tilmann Otto, a German reggae musician from Cologne. Making a traditional form of roots reggae, quite similar to the work of Bob Marley, he claims Jamaica to be his home away from home and travels there frequently. He sings mostly in English and Patois, and got really famous with the song "Tabula Rasa,"which he performed with the German hip-hop groups Freundeskreis and Mellowbag in 1998. In his lyrics, Gentleman often discuss social and political issues, as well as the use of marijuana.
