The Partysquad is a Dutch DJ team consisting of DJ Jerry (Jerry Leembruggen) and MC Ruben (Ruben Fernhout). Mixing hip-hop with house elements, the duo produced its first album De Bazen Van De Club in 2006, spawning the hit single "Rampeneren." After its success, The Partysquad started to experiment with different genres which, ultimately, led to its unique sounds. The duo's success didn't go unnoticed as they were asked to open shows for artists like 50 Cent, Kanye West and The Pussycat Dolls. The Partysquad was forced into retreat when DJ Jerry went into coma after a severe car crash. As Jerry recovered, the group made a comeback in 2010 with its single "A Msterdamn," a collaboration with world-famous DJ Afrojack. Soon after, the two Dutchmen broke into US and UK audiences with the track "Original Don," a collaboration with Major Lazer, as well as the 2014 remix "Dibby Dibby Sound."
