Eddie Money (born Eddie Joseph Mahoney) is a rock singer/songwriter and musician from Brooklyn, New York who is best known for his massive commercial success on the recording charts during the 1970s and 1980s. Since virtually becoming an American household name with the release of such ubiquitous hard rock singles as "Two Tickets to Paradise" and "Take Me Home Tonight," Eddie Money would hold onto his success for several decades after his career hit its peak. Today, Money can be found touring his hits around the world as well regularly performing for various televised events.
Sadly, Eddie Money passed away in 2019 due to complications from esophageal cancer.
