Artillery is a thrash metal band from Denmark that developed a reputation for its speedy, guitar-driven style during its initial run between 1982 and 1991. After three studio albums and numerous national tours, the group called it quits just before it reached the decade marker of its existence. The band reformed in 1998 to record a fourth studio album titled B.A.C.K., but went on to breakup for a second time by 2000. Artillery became active once more in 2007 with guitarist Michael Stutzer at the helm but long-time vocalist Flemming Ronsdorf sitting out on the reunion. Armed with a revamped lineup, fronted by lead vocalist Miachel Bastholm Dahl, Artillery continues to perform and record new music, such as the 2013 LP Legions.
