Poisonblack is a Finnish metal band that was formed in 2000 as a side project by the Sentenced's guitarist, Ville Laihiala. Poisonblack's sound is dark gothic metal and it is quite popular outside Finland as well; the band toured Italy, together with Lacuna Coil, in 2006. Although the band called in quits in 2015, its music remains popular among metal fans.
