PMMP was formed in 2002 when the two main singers, Paula Vesala and Mira Luoti, met one another through a Finnish television show. The band’s first album Kulkaas enot! was an instant hit, noted for its abundant energy. PMMP’s style has since moved to more contemplative sound, with thoughtful lyrics and less of its original disco sound.
