John West

Los Angeles based artist John West rose to fame with his brand of acoustic/alternative pop and urban hip-hop music. A regular performer at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, West stood out among the array of street acts with his falsetto voice and acoustic guitar, while selling over 35 thousand copies of his three self-recorded EPs. His record sales and growing fan base earned West a deal with booking company Creative Artists Agency and a record deal with Mercury/Island Def Jam records. In 2011, West released his single "Already There" featuring Big Sean, a feel-good track from his 2012 debut album that exemplifies the optimism that made him famous.
