Noah Olivier Smith, known professionally as Yeat, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer born on February 26, 2000, in Irvine, California. With a Romanian mother and a British-Mexican father, Yeat was raised in Fullerton, California, before moving to Portland, Oregon. He started his music career in 2015, initially under the name Lil Yeat, and gained viral success in 2021 with his mixtape 4L and debut album Up 2 Me, featuring the TikTok hits "Money So Big" and "Get Busy." Known for his experimental sound, unique lingo, and fashion sense, Yeat has released multiple albums, including 2 Alive (2022), Afterlyfe (2023), and 2093 (2024). His collaboration with Drake on "IDGAF" reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Yeat's music, often featuring bell sounds and aggressive, Auto-Tune-laden vocals, has solidified his place in the modern rap scene.
