With a Romanian mother and a British-Mexican father, Yeat was raised in Fullerton, California, before moving to Portland, Oregon. He started his music career in 2015, initially under the name Lil Yeat, and gained viral success in 2021 with his mixtape 4L and debut album Up 2 Me, featuring the TikTok hits "Money So Big" and "Get Busy." Known for his experimental sound, unique lingo, and fashion sense, Yeat has released multiple albums, including 2 Alive (2022), Afterlyfe (2023), and 2093 (2024).
